We all feel stuck from time to time. As human beings, we possess a primal drive towards evolution and dynamism, but that instinct often works in opposition to our desire for stability and familiarity. Our professional lives are a major theater for this conflict, and that “stuck” feeling can creep in when we feel the forces of change and stasis reach a stalemate. The good news is we don’t have to settle for an endless inner war, and there are steps we can take, today, to get out of limbo and get things back on track.

November is typically a surprisingly stressful month for me. I tend to find extra pressure to put on myself to have something to show for my efforts before year’s end, and to set myself up for success in the coming year… all while having increased family obligations and fewer daylight hours (which always challenge my ability to stay awake and stay motivated).

It’s election day in the United States of America. Say what you will about 2020… it certainly has been fantastic for voter turnout! With early votes blowing 2016’s total votes out of the water!
